Well, I was asked to make two lots of Save the Date cards for two bride to be's (the Weddings are 3 weeks apart!) and both have come back to me and asked if I can make EVERYTHING else! :o:o:o
Table place cards, all the invites, Order of Service...... eekkk!!
I do know both girls and have made them cards in the past (Birthday, Engagement etc) so I think it helps!!
Could be the start of something eh?!!:D

Great news TipTop!!
We did 'save the date' sticky note type cards so people could simply stick it to there calendar.
... and our table place settings were sugar mice with name tgas on there tails :p
I loved planning for our wedding, would do it all over if I had the chance ;)

Thank you!!
The Weddings aren't until 2009 (very organised brides!) so I can relax a little until next year! Having said that I'm 'doing lunch' with one of them next week to discuss what she wants!!:o

great news!
i have to admit i was a bit lazy with my save the date cards and got minicards printed from moo.com though i did spend hours choosing and editing the photographs! Now i've got 10 months to put the invites and all the other bits and pieces together. thank goodness for my sister in america living near a JoAnns - she's been sending me martha stewartcraft kits and gorgeous fabrics and papers!

Ah you lucky person!!!
If I ever went to America I'd have to go with empty suitcases for all the craft stuff I'd bring back!!
When you get to 25 posts you can show us your cards!:D

Thats fab news Tip..I don't know how I missed this thread the first time round!
When I got married in 1990 I just had invitations.. there was none of this 'save the date stuff' I didn't enjoy organising my wedding I was just a horrible stressed out bride!! Perhaps that's why I was divorced 7 years later!! :o:o

Thank you Anice!
I got married in 2000 and made my own invites too - I don't think Save the date cards were invented back then! I was stressed too - was made redundant just before too so it gave me time to make all the invites etc. But ended up loosing weight and it went off the important area and had to loo-roll enhance on the day!!!!
I'm not complaining about them being the in thing now!!:D
