I've just come across this website via BBC news.

"An internet word game has generated enough rice to feed 50,000 people for one day, the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) has said"

The game, FreeRice, tests the vocabulary of participants. For each click on a correct answer, the website donates money to buy 10 grains of rice

found this at the weekend and have been fairly adicted ever since, but I don't feel any guilt coz I'm feeding the poor!

Sounds like my kind of thing when there's rice involved - normally I'm using it to stuff my chickens!!

Oh no, totally addictive, and how silly do you feel from the pleasure you get when you have guessed one and it is right!!!!:D Made myself stop at 400 grains, this forum is addictive enough without losing further time!!;)

I couldn't stop until I got to 6750 grains and only stopped then because it was midnight!!!

it's so adictive. first you aim for 100 and then 100 and then 10000 and all of a sudden you realise the kids need picking up from schoola dn you haven't even started tea yet!
