I have two large paintings to do in the next couple of weeks, so my hubbie has taken the day off so I can get on with them. So we are having a role swap, so far he has done the school and playgroup run, right now he's off to Sainsburys, he should be home soon in time for unpacking the shopping just in time to go and fetch Shelley from playgroup. So far he thinks he can do everything better than me, but I can't wait for him to find out how tiring it can be doing the home things. He might get to sit down at lunchtime but this afternoon it will be housework. hehe. Best get back to the painting before he finds me on here.:D

Sounds brilliant to me. The only thing i find when you put men in charge is they say 'this is so easy, don't know why you moan about it being hard work' but half the time they haven't done any housework or alike that we would have to do in the day.

Hope he's not to tired by the end of the day :D

My DH is always complaining about the house being a ..... (well I'm not going to say the word or even do those little star thingies... coz Peter might be cross with me, but I can't write the words either coz the computer would probably explode!)..... Anyway he's forever saying if I went out to work and he stayed at home then all the washing, ironing tidying etc would be upto date, everything would be done and organised and we'd never loose anything or be embarrassed if someone turned up unannounced. However, he forgets that I run the businesses and have an artistic creative side that loves to have clutter on hand to be creative with.

:)UPDATE:)

He's back and gone again to collect Shelley, of course, he did the shopping better than me:confused:. I've just said 'Lunch' when he gets back and he said 'that would be lovely' Is he thinking I usually have someone in to prepare my lunch? Love the idea of 'creative clutter' :mf:

Hee hee - I'm lucky in that Mr Swirl fully understands what it takes to look after my two! Hope you get the pictures finished.

Actually he's being really sweet. I'm lucky to have him, and the first painting is coming on well - thanks
