View Full Version : Shut Up!!!!
I'm sat here at my computer at 20:40 and one of our neighbours a few doors down is playing their music horrendously loud and it's like this :
boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom .....pause....... boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom boom-boom-boom-boom-boom-boom .....pause.......
Honestly, it sounds like my washing machine is on spin cycle with big brick in it.
Why do people do it? It must be SO loud in their house as they're about 6 doors down and we're all detached.
And while I'm moaning. Why is it when my next door neighbour's teenage son get's on his motorbike, he can't just get on it, switch it on and go? Why does he have to get on it, switch it on, rev it for at least 15 times and then go.
I think I get to spoiled by how quiet it is in the daytime and then everybody comes home from work and have the audacity to listen to music. Loudly.
Seriously though, the music is starting to do my head in. It's not even got any tune to it just duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh.
People. Kuh!

When we live in Twyford we were the middle of 5 flats. One guy used to play Chuckie Egg on his computer really loudly at all hours and then they moved out and the new neighbours had a f***ing parrot that squawked ALL the time - oh and 3 noisy kids :o :o

What's Chuckie Egg?
We have an old lady next door who never makes a sound in the day, but is very noisy at night! Slaming doors, stomping up and down her wooden stairs, shouting for her cat at the back door .... drives me crazy!!
But luckily we live at the bottom a cul-de-sac, so we hardly ever get cars coming our way.

...I know how you feel.
This is a quiet villsge, by and large. However, the nice houses next door to us and behind us are housing association. The people are great, all but the house next door.
The mum & dad are fine, the two wee kids are fine. But the teenage boy is a total a*se-wipe. He's banned from every school in the town, and he's chuffed to buggery that he's got an ASBO. Like it was some kind of award. This week he's also picked up an electronic tag for pinching and trashing his mother's car.
This....child...also plays the loud boom-boom music, but first thing in the morning before he gets taxied to the poor school that has been forced to take him in, some sort of young offender's place.
I really need that competing with Tel at daft o'clock in the morning. Admittedly, it does drown out Sarah Kennedy, which is no bad thing......
He also has great gangs of thugs around to his house, and they make huge amounts of noise and leave bottles, cans & litter everywhere, mostly in my front garden. Deep joy......
You have my sympathy!

We used to have a lovely old neighbor next door - or so we thought - she had a boyfriend (she was 70 if she was a day) and when he came to visit I swear to god the two of them were at it like rabbits and the racket that old woman made was unbelievable. We actually made built in wardrobes right along the wall that joined her bedroom to ours and we could still hear her through the wardrobes and the rails of clothes.
She's dead now and no wonder must have exhausted herself to death.
Hehe.
