Is Easter Too Early for a Fair?

Easter Saturday is March 22nd in 2008.

Is this too early for a fair, or the wrong day being Easter Saturday? I thought maybe Sat 15th March (Be ware the Ides etc etc)?

What do you think?

I don't think its too early at all - is it before Mothers Day? If it is, then go for it, if not, hmmmmmmm!!

See what everyone else thinks as they are much more seasoned with fairs than me as I've only done one!!

I don't think its to early, we have our first fair for 2008 booked for the 22nd March which falls on the Easter bank holiday, if that's any help?

...is on March 2nd next year, which is very early. Apparently it's always the fourth Sunday of Lent.

Hmmmmm......perhaps I should start booking earlier. I was trying to factor in a break, and time to make stock....!

I know of an organizer that has got the 8th March booked for a fair. I really don't think the 2nd is too early, being it is Mothers day and hopefully families will be taking mums out for the day. It will then give you a good two months to build up your stock.
