I thought I'd show you what Oakdale Studios has started to diversify into.

Let me introduce you to Viktor von Forkenspoon (http://www.facebook.com/ViktorVonForkenspoon) (aka me, again) and what he's been up to.

I have always had an epitome with old flatware, forks n spoons etc.

OK, it's not an original idea, but I thought I'd put the plating system I have to other use.............hopefully, it'll start to pay for it's self?

I pondered for a while as to what to do with the cutlery I have and here it is so far.

I hope to create a mish-mash of things, but this is only the beginning...............I only hope it's not the end! Mwahahahahahahaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh......I hope you like them, it's my 1st attempt.

Nice to see something a bit different and original. On holiday recently in France, we were at a craft centre, and somebody had made clock faces out of cutlery.
Every 5 minutes was noted by a knife, fork or spoon, which was screwed to a base. The clock had a straightforward battery operated movement, and normal hands.

They looked good, and were getting quite a lot of interest.

cheers

Thanks John

yes, quite a few people have been messing about with flatware, it's quite an old "tradition" and dates back centuries.
People seem to be getting more creative with their ideas, I hope I can make mine different enough though.

They are great. I've done some bashing spoons and forks flat and forming them into bracelets. They sold really well!

Thank you. I must say that working with metal again is so absorbing, I Don't know where the time goes.

I have an old letter and number punch set somewhere, think I'll have a go at some quotes?
