View Full Version : Colour inspiration
I'm doing this project for a craft mag (necklace, bracelet and earring) and I can't decide on the colours.
I wanted to do black/grey/white (cats eyes) but then I thought it might be too dull. So should I go for gold/brown (glass pearls) colour scheme or red/green/blue (firepolish)
Maybe I should hit the shops to see what's in at the moment?

When's the mag going to be out? You might be better going with the a christmas theme if it will be near Christmas - you know green, reds golds that type of thing.
Cheers.

Ooooh, gold, brown and pearls sounds like a winner to me.
Metallics are in so gold is good and brown and an off white pearl would be perfect for winter as the brown reminds me of winter leaves(which seems to be here already).Try orange as well.
It comes out next month. My thinking was should I go with the usual colours for this time of year? That's why the black/grey/white came from, to offer a project in different colours and beads. For instance, I had a project out this month and the other bead project from another company was with firepolish. I chose silver foil beads.
Firepolish and glass pearls are of course bound to draw in interest but if I were to try something a bit different for the time of year, would this work against me? Should I follow the trend?

Purple is in fashion wise this winter as are metallics. I like the sound of greys and whites but I see what you mean about it being a bit dull. Could you do greys etc with a bit of silver? That would give it a bit of pazazz.
