I'm trying to find a suitable gule that will stick a bead cap to the end of bracelet memory wire, so far I've tried super glue and jewellery cement but the caps are coming off too easily.

It's really annoying as I've had 4 bracelets returned, in the absence of anything that will properly hold the bead cap on I've had to create a loop to hold the beads in place.

But I really would like to be able to get the bead caps to stay put, they look so nice.

PLEASE HELP I'm going mad, I've even tried leaving them 48 hours to set but it didn't wory I could cry!!

The only sucess I've had is by providing a good key for the glue to adhere to. I rub the end of the memory wire with sand paper until it is scratched and then use jewellery cement.

To be honest though, I stopped selling the ends for memory wire because my customers were all having the same problem. I now finish the ends with a loop and attach a small dangle.

I'll second the loop and small dangle idea, bead caps for memory wire are totally useless. :)

Try www.thistothat.com about what glues to use on different surfaces.

Try doing small charms instead on the end or in B&Q you can buy super glue that come in a bottle with a brush in it i find that work better than other bottles of super glue.

I use araldite as well, and it is far more durable than superglue. But if you can, scuff up the surfaces to be bonded with a medium grade sandpaper to give the glue a little more surface area to adhere to, and as araldite - even the rapid set araldite - takes time to harden, then using bluetack to hold the bracelet and bead in position will be necessary. Hope you get a good result whichever direction you go in. I know how much of a bugbear it can be sometimes when you want to achieve that certain little something extra...
