I am searching for a way to create something similar to the attached photograph to use on my facebook page and website but i am getting nowhere. I find photoshop very confusing because I do not understand the layers part. Is there a simplier way around this.

thank you to anyone who can help
Marie

Hello

I've found two FREE online photo services really useful. Sorry, but I can't post links. Both are .com sites.

photocollage.net
freeonlinephotoeditor

I think the photocollage.net is the one you need.

They are really easy to use.

Microsoft Publisher is a great tool for things like that!

hi
if you already have photoshop, you really should percevere with it, theres some wonderful step by step bbooks in the library and the secret is is not to jump before you can walk.. it really does pay off to be patient and learn it because it will help you endlessly for getting those pictures just right. is it adobe photoshop or photoshop elements you have ?
theres even some wonderful tutorials on you tube , just found this but for the photoshop cs5..but just type in photoshop elements layers (if you have this one which should be more simper)

Picasa will allow you to do this too - its the create collage feature and you have options of styles and are able to rotate the images until you have exactly what you want. Its a free download if you don't already have it and it is sooooooo simple to use even I can do it ;)

You just copy and paste your photos onto a page then resize them and make your square/rectangle and when you save it pick the option "save as jpeg"
