I've been working hard at getting my own site up and running and finally finished it. Was hoping to keep it simple to navigate and update and hope I achieved that. If interested it's at:

Just had a quick look at your site (cause hubby is coming home from work and is expecting to be fed!!! how rude). Your sites nice, easy to navigate. The only thing I would say is could you make the info bar on the left hand side a bit bigger. Just a little bit small for those of the visually impaired (that's me I'm talking about).
Great work.
Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. :) I did try making the navigation bar with larger text but didn't like the look of it so changed it back, lol. I will see how it goes though. Thanks again.

Your site is really nice and i found it easy to navigate.
Others may dissagree with me on this but in you T&C's your time of shipment - i would just put down that 'we aim to send out orders within 72 hours' sounds better IMO. You don't need a reason, you don't need to explain yourself.
Hope you have great success with the site.
All the best.

Thanks. :) Regarding the aim to ship thing, I was in two minds with this. I know some people expect things to be posted straightaway and I decided to try the honest approach that it might not happen. I can see your point though about not needing a reason. I'll consider that. Thanks. :)

I aim to ship things ASAP but most people don't expect things for 4 to 4 days anyway and if you get them out sooner you get a good response.

I think the site is great.
My only comment is that from the products I viewed, there were several out of stock products (more than appeared to be in stock), which kind of put me off looking further.
Regarding the postage, payments Ts & Cs, I like the nice honest feel to them.

Heehee! Well I wasn't expecting that to happen and I totally agree with you. I decided to take some stuff into work with me, wasn't expecting much but a couple of the girls wanted to see it, and then more people came for a look and it went down rather well resulting in a "SOLD" site for me. Can't really complain but it's just a temporary thing until I can make some new bits and update over the weekend. :)

I think your site is good! Again, would make the navigation panels on left bigger as they are a little lost, and also the shipping thing (although I have a feeling I am also guilty of that!) You could put in that you don't post on Bank Holidays or weekends or you are not liable for items delayed due to strikes etc...?
Little the little piggy charm!!;)

Ah that's a good point about not shipping on Bank Holidays and not liable for delayed items, hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
'Fraid the navigation bar will stay as it is as I like it like that, it just doesn't look right with bigger text. :)
I know if people do struggle with reading smaller text you can go to View / Text Size when in Internet Explorer and increase it if it's an ongoing problem.
