I have heard that 'MR.Site' is good and not too expensive!

You could always just set up an ebay shop which will only cost about £6 a month and it has its own web address and content pages...

Good luck with the dream weaver course :0)

Hi, not sure if its what you are looking for but I designed my website using Microsoft Office Live. It hasn't cost me anything as its free, its hosted but I just have to work out out to get my page near the top of searches????

Just a thought anyway.

Hi

'Mr.Site' is really great! I used it for my website, its really easy and you dont need to be technologically advanced. You can also track hits to your site and gett an online shop, mine was up and running in a couple of days.:)

You get what you pay for..

MRsite is pretty good but to start with..

Limited control and functionally but cover what most people need to start with..

Hi,

So you have bought your domain name and the space which is £13 a year, now you need to upload a site is that right?

I used iWeb on the mac and it's brilliant, although some of the fonts don't work in internet explorer so my man who happens to be a programmer had to do a bit of tweeking. I chose a very plan background template (there are a few to choose from) and then made my pictures to focal point.

Good luck with the site.

Hi I used Vodahost.com for building my website. It costs $9.95 per month and its great. It includes a website builder and I opted to use their soholaunch ecommerce package which was included in the price. Its an American site though but I havent found any problems with it yet. They have masses of tutorials and a huge forum if you get stuck.

The downside to these kind of offerings is you are limited to what you can do, but I tried a number of others and this offered more than most but for a fraction of the cost.

I found looking for the best website hosting, building etc a complete nightmare and very frustrating. Am I the only one?
