Ive been making goodies out of wooden beads, some are 2cm/2.7cm's in diameter!!
My work is getting huge, especially as Im making long necklaces!!
Im need to get bigger grip seal bags as they dont fit in any I have comortably And I need to do packaging experiments to see if they will be sendable.
They are pretty weighty too.
Anybody else seen a change in their work that requires changes elsewhere?

Chunky jewellery is all in fashion now and I have had to order lots of larger 'packaging suppliers' to send out my beads!

Im back to my old problem.
I only bought a few boxes in a couple fo different sizes as I was just starting and didnt know if anything would sell.
A sample box I have which would be ideal for my bigger jewellery can only be bought it packs of 100!!
Can I justify buying that many!!?
What if nobody buys form me again?
Where can I store them?

I guess you could always sell the excess stock on ebay!! In saying that I am sure loads of people are going to buy your beautiful work so you dont really have anything to worry about ! :-)
How about some pretty organza bags - they are smaller to store and you can fill them with tissue paper and petals if one day you need to put smaller things in!! ;-)

If only Id be happy with organza bags.I have a fear of my stuff turning up in pieces, so I try to go for boxes when I can.
If only bubble wrap looked good, Id be happy with that around it then put in a padded envelope.

I just received a couple of dyed wooden bead samples from a company ive used before.
Thankfully they gave out samples as Im often worried about the quality of new beads.
I just tested the dye on the beads by wetting them and rubbing them on my notepad, the dye came off.!
Thank goodness for samples!
