Help please

Hi and a Happy New Year to all

I was wondering if anyone can help do you know if it is possible to buy a new drive shaft for the sizzix bigshot. Mine has sheared off where the handle screws in, unfortunately having opened the side of the machine it is the whole shaft that runs through the carrying handle of the machine that needs replacing. I have e-mailed Sizzix customer services but being a bank holiday I am not expecting a reply for a couple of days and wondered if anyone here has any knowledge of anywhere that sells spare parts. If not it looks like I might have to buy a new machine.

I feel your pain... I would be lost without mine...

I am assuming you have had it a while and its out of warranty...in which case sizzix would be the people to contact and I think they are back on 3rd Jan. I have never heard of anyone who has broken the machine itself...I really hope they can help. (If not there are offers on new machines at around the fifty quid mark at the moment...)

Thanks Christa yes it is out of warranty and very well used, hopefully sizzix will be able to help when they are back and if not well Santa will just have to leave me a late present - I now realise that I am addicted to the bigshot - the withdrawal is dreadful (lol)
