I'm quite excited, i have a table at Art On The Prom,
I sent some piccies off with a friend, you are allowed to share a table with one other person, and we got accepted!!
Art on The Prom is held every year and as it says is artists displaying and selling their work along the length of the Prom. It's grown into a really big event so this year you had to submit photos.
It is mostly art as in picture/paintings/sculpture but they do let in a small number of other stuff, as in my case Jewellery!!
It's on 2nd Sept so i really should go start making some stuff!!!!!!!:eek:

The artists have tables along the Prom between the spa pavillion and the Pier, not sure where i will be yet, and i may not be at my table all day as i'll have to pop into the ice cream parlour to make sure everything is ok there- it's usually one of the busiest days of the year- so me and the girl i'm sharing the table with will take turns i think.
New this year is Art in the Gardens which will be held in the Spa Gardens, an event for children, there will be workshops etc to amuse children also there is a little competion for children, so hopefully it will be busy.
But like you say it all depends on the good old british weather...

It was fantastic..
They reckon in the paper that about 20,000 people came to Felixstowe that day..
(how do they know that? Who gets the job of counting them?)
