hi all. I'm a fairly new potter (about a year) and I'm currently working on developing my own style for my covered jars and boxes. what I'm interested in is decoupage on pottery. I've seen pieces with vintage labels or photographs on the piece, seemlingly beneath the glaze. Does anyone know the process for this? I would assume you'd affix the ephemera (let's say a newspaper clipping) and then glaze OVER it and then fire it?

Has anyone done this? I work with stoneware and cone 10 glazes.

thanks!

Hi, I have seen it but dont know how it is done. I once did a thing with photo copy onto clay then fired it. If you find out about your thing please will you let me know. You have got me interested again.
