hey

can anyone help me find someone to certify my soap to be able to sell at craft fairs and how do you go about it, also to get insurance?

i use a company called Walker Midgely for insurance public lib is about £30 a year and a friend of mine uses a lab in England to pass her handmade soap but sorry i don't know the name but hope it narrows the search:sleep:

If you do a search for soap kitchen they will provide you with a list of independant chemists who will certify your soaps. I've found one in particular to be quite reasonable (compared to others!)

i have my insurance with lloyds (as i have my business account with them i receive a 10% discount) i was told that as well as public liability i also needed product liability .... i pay alot more then £30 a year :-( I phoned round and got quite a few quotes, and for me Lloyds was the least expensive
