View Full Version : Yay I'm in the Christmas Exhibition

;) I just had to share this, I few weeks ago I submitted a couple of paintings for an exhibition at a local gallery, there is a rigorous selection procedure and as I hadn't heard anything within a couple of weeks I thought I was unsuccessful, but today I received an email to tell me that one of my paintings has been selected, I must admit to doing the happy dance around the room and phoning my husband to SHOUT out my news. The Gallery is The Apex in Bury St Edmunds http://theapex.co.uk/gallery/

Yes it's brilliant news, apparently the Gallery has been inundated with Artwork which makes it all the more brilliant news for me.

Congratulations!!! That is SO exciting!!! How can I see your paintings, besides coming over....are they in your albums?

How can I see your paintings, besides coming over....

You'll have to come over Susan, you would love Bury St Edmunds it's full of history and olde English buildings.

The exhibition is on from the 3rd Dec to 14th January, it's not my usual painting that is on my plaques or even the gallery on my blog, this one is a bit on the abstract side, I'll put a pic on my blog once the exhibition is open, until then I can't show it. I'd love you to see it in situ.

Susan, I'll update you when it is on my blog ;)

Gallery times are 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday and there is a coffee shop ;)
