Warrington CRAFT CAFE GROUP Has A Start Date

Hi All(friends old and New)

I am starting a new craft meetup in Warrington and would like to see if anyone would like to join us,well the 5 of us so far......

Many will remember my previous post regarding a new group in Warrington ,well ever the optimist I knew that with a bit of patience and being an optimist I knew something would come along........

YEH!!!! IT DID , AND AS THE SAYING GOES WE HAVE LIFT OFF..................:)

It is a very informal meetup with everybody bringing along their own project to work on or to come and chat ,so******e and maybe get a taste for new craft.
We are hoping to have people in to do demonstations for us which I always find fascinating as there are so many amazing crafts out there .

I myself will be bringing my crochet and knitting along,but if you sew,paint ,papercarft,scapbook,card make or do any other craft just bring it along and sit and have a good old natter.

This is a meetup rather than a formal class or workshop as many people do not have the confidence to start these,but by joing something like this will give them the confidence to go further with classes etc.

PERHAPS we could start making some gorgeous Handmade Christmas gifts and decorations and help each other with some inspiration.

VENUE: The Brustation CAFE
(formerly Borders book shop in warrington on the same retail park as DFS SOFA SHOP WARRINGTON)

The shop is now a discount shop with the cafe upstairs.

Has a lift to upper floor for people with disabilities with good parking facilities and parking for the disabled.
The only thing the cafe ask is that we purchase teas,coffees etc and not bring our own refreshments with us.
Sorry we cannot accomodate children due to health and safety reasons.

Just checked the date - gutted as I work during the week so I can't come along but I hope its fab, let me know how it goes and next time maybe I can take some flexi and come along.
I'll let you know whats happening in Wigan, its likely to be an evening meeting though, but I can tell you nearer to the time

This is really exciting news!! I'm hoping I can find time to come along. I have a feeling the first few dates will be too busy for me with web orders coming up to Christmas - but I'll see if I can work round them a bit and at least bring some of my lettering and finishing with me. We'll see!

I love the sound of it and will definitely join you after Christmas even if I can't make it before.

Just a quick hello to say the 2nd meetup of Warringtons Craft and Chat is on tomorrow 31st Oct.
I'm hoping to make it the magical 5 tomorrow .

Hi Everyone

Just a quick update of our little craft and chat group in Warrington.
It seems to be taking off really well and I have already met some lovely ladies(no men at the moment) who all have a great love of crafting .
Of course the more the merrier and it is a perfect way to get out and so******e,or maybe when the little ones are nursery or school join us for a couple of crafty hours.
If you are looking to start to craft,but have no idea where to start why not join us and see for yourself the vast array of crafters craftings(well probably just as much chatting lol......)
