I haven't been around as much recently - been very very busy getting my certification for PMC, so I thought I would show you what I have been experimenting with recently - Precious Metal Clay and swarovski crystals. The little flower caps on the crystals are made from PMC, and the chain is sterling silver. The earrings are smaller dangles to match the focal piece of the necklace. I am quite pleased with it, and have so far managed to sell 2 sets. I want to do a lot more combing PMC and beads, so hopefully this is just the start..... What do you think - worth continuing??

Definitely worth continuing, they are absolutely gorgeous - obviously a lot of work involved with them.

Cheers.

Very nice - I don't suppose you would like to walk us through how you made the PMC flower caps? Are they moulded?

Thanks everyone - nice to know others like them too. I have an idea next for an organic seed pod shape with swarovski clusters.....

Woody - I made them by using a small flower cutter - I can't remember the name - it might be Kemp cutters or something similar, they are like very small cookie cutters. When the flower shape is cut, I poked a hole up through the middle with a needle tool, and at the same time bent the edges of the flower downward. This made them into 'caps' but also ensured that each one was different as some bent more than others, or into different irregular shapes. Hope that helps - pm me if you want more info.

Thanks again to everyone for nice comments xxx
