I was thinking that about an hour ago as I stared at the work holiday calender.
Years seem to whizz by now.

Need to get organised for the festive season - it is amazing how far in advance you need to bloomin well plan.
Cheers for that.

oh the weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful,
and since we've no place to go,
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

It's scary, I'm trying to think about getting ready for Christmas but I've got 3 days of fairs & 2 shows (up to 5th Sept.), so I'm making stuff like there's no tomorrow for them!!
When do you start selling Christmassy items? I've got some fairs coming up in October - is that too early?

I think October is abut right. I have found that if I do craft fairs in December I don't sell as much of the Christmas stock because people have already bought their presents. October and November are generally my busy time for Christmas stock.
Cheers.

:D
I had somebody on Wednesday buy some earrings and bag charms as presents for Christmas.....

The Harrods Christmas grotto opened this week - there were photos of it in the Metro today or yesterday.

Definately, alot of people I talk to are thinking about Christmas now, as soon as the summer holidays are over with, it will be on peoples minds. I think the weather has an effect though. If we have a warm and sunny September/October then people might think about Christmas a bit later. Be ready for October though, your competitors will be.
