I know this is an old post Anice but I just wanna quote you here cos I've been like that for the past 6 months....almost giving up & considering going back to my old job....then I do a bit of future-pacing and visualisation and it strengthens my resolve that I DONT WANNA BE THERE DOING THAT AGAIN!....I havent come all this way to go back, not a chance!

I know bills have to be paid and its a worry when you're the sole billl payer like me but I'm gonna keep trying new things....auditioning for some voiceover work tomorrow, bloomin eck!

Hey Anice, your good vibes musta helped, I did alright today! :mf:

My first take wasnt much cop o course but after just a bit of direction, my second take wasnt half bad! - good enough for him to say he's certain my phone will ring a lot once I get a demo tape circulated. Gave me a few scripts to practice over the next week or so then said we'll get something on demo & get it out there!

...considering most of his voicovers are ex presenters, ex DJs, even ex actors....and I've managed an office for 17 years for heavens sake!....I was pretty darned chuffed!

Thanks for your good vibes, I'll keep you posted on how I get on!
