Hi everyone. Great site! I have just met someone from the Continent wearing a fabulous necklace which she made herself and was wondering if anyone knows where I could find the same sort of thing. It was made from shell or mother of pearl buttons or discs - varying in size between about 1 or 2 centimetres each. There were various colours and I think they had 4 holes, but I suppose that wouldn't matter. She had bought them, together with the laces and clasp abroad. I can't find anything similar online. Maybe I am looking for the wrong thing - can't imagine them being used as buttons - too thin and too large.
