I've taken part in a mini bead swap on a lampworkers forum, and as I don't actually do lamworking, I thought I've have a go at some beaded beads.

Being my usual self, I left everything too late to actually make something around a wooden core, but I found a pattern for stringing together 4mm beads, and this is what I came up with...

What do you think?

I keep trying to avoid having to do them - they look too finicky even for me! Well done Melanie, are they as fiddly as they look? :)

They were a little bit fiddly - I decided to tie knots as I went along to help them keep their shape while I made them, but its a great way to use up beads. There're 30 in each.

I've been trying to work out if I can make them with sp chips ;)

Have you thought about making beaded rings - they're all the rage at the moment and I'm often asked if I have them.....

To be honest I wouldn't know where to start.

The dark ones look like blackberries! Quite appropriate as we seem to have skipped Summer and gone straight to Autumn.
