Hi

I need a quality table standing print rack that doesn't cost the sun.
I've looked on Ikea, Amazon and Argos none were suitable, I even looked at magazine racks which didn't have a nice flat section in the middle which would help the prints to sit nicely, any suggestions?

Thanks

I have never seen these for sale in the UK, but I have seen an artist use these to display his prints. The only place I can find that stocks them at a keen price is in the USA. http://www.framingsupplies.com/CanvasArtRacks.htm The smallest one is what you might be looking for. Might be worth a quick email.

I've been trying too...the best I've found cost about £60. At the moment my stall has a 'bright'n'fun' look and I'm using the multi-coloured foldup crates (A5, A4 and a bit bigger sizes) and they are working well.

If you find a supplier let me know! :)

I think what you are looking for are Print Browsers/Rack
As I am not allowed to give url just google printbrowsers - they stock all sizes from table top up to A0 - not cheap but professional quality.
An alternative is greatart web site and in their search option enter Print Rack.
One thing I have learnt is that your display says it all about you. If you intend to carry on in the craft and expand, a professional display is very important.

I use old (solid) drawers that are the correct width, then add a vertical backrest to the rear. The inside lip of the drawer where the prints would rest after they have been looked at is sanded down to prevent marks/lines on your print. The drawer is then painted etc to look good. Mine have lasted three years with minor repair and frequent painting. They hold quite a lot of prints and I find a non-slip mat in the bottom helps.
With the magazine racks why not cut a custom triangle of wood to fit the base.

Good luck.

I use a magazine rack (picked it up from Amazon - one of the rubberwood ones I think that you can separate into 2 flat pieces for easy packing) with, similar to as Fusby suggests, a 'toblerone' of reinforced cardboard made to size and stuffed with bubblewrap to stop it collapsing. Not as elegant as a proper rack, but does the job.

Once I'm back up and running again I will look into some ideas for displaying prints. Another thing to add to the todo list.
