I'm woundering how you aall store your beads?
I've got a box which is really a screw storage drawer thingy which i keep them in but i've outgrown it.
I need something with lots and lots of compartments.... It would be good if it shut securely as then i could take it with me when we go off on our jollys, i could sit and make jewellery while he's off looking at 'junk'
What do you do with your beads?

I have bags galore and small compartment clear boxes.
I recently moved some stuff into a drawer type thing like I think you have. Its been very good so far and it closes securely and has a carrying handle.

I have 7 small storage boxes from poundstretchers. cost me £2 each, and have 18 small compartments. I have mine separated into colours, bit if I'm taking stuff to work or a craft fair, I just fill one with things I'll need. Thats just for my beads, I have another 4 small ones for findings, and a lot of stuff I've no place to put :D

My fav storage box is one by Beadalon - I cant put links on here but if you want to see it have a look at my website under storage.
The great thing about it is that all the little compartment boxes come out so you can just take out what you need when you need it. I have found it great when I have been traveling as I am brilliant at leaving the main box open and then knocking it over allowing everything to fly all over the place!!!
If you were feeling very very rich have a look at 'The Work Box'. At £1499.99 it is not for the faint hearted!! It comes direct from the supplier and as a seller you cant reduce the price unfortunately! Well, we can all dream!!

For seed beads I use 35mm film cannisters with sticky labels on. Bigger beads are in clear plastic pull out draws. I am always having to re-arrange as i buy more beads, and also coming across long forgotten beads. One room of my house is floor to ceiling beads on two walls. Oh to have a shop!

I bought a large-ish storage box (with lid) and I just buy smaller boxes when I need them - that way I can try to buy the right sized box for each different lot of beads etc. & I keep the smaller boxes inside the big box!

I use storage boxes with good lockable lids or a low cost way is 'washed yogurt pots' for beads of different size / colour / shape.

Found a fab plastic 3 filing draws thing from Smiths at the weekend, from £12 down to £5, had to walk through town with it.
I know have 3 of these plastic drawer things stacked on top of each other reaching a good 7foot!

I would second using the boxes (presumably intended for nuts & bolts) from DIY stores - have a couple of these, each of which holds a number of smaller plastic trays which can be lifted out when you are working.
The whole thing locks shut via the lid & has a carrying handle - ideal for transport.

I use storage boxes from b&q and also use plastic business card boxes with lids for all my beads.
