Hi,
can anyone offer me any advice, opinions and your experience on Mr Site particulary the £99 version that offers the shopping cart.
My current shopping cart keeps hiking there prices and I am looking to move with Mr Site I know you get a website builder and shopping cart for an annual fee a little cheaper than my current one.
many thanks

If you have some free webspace with your internet supplier (e.g. BT) then why pay for web hosting. Designing a website is fairly easy now. I have used a simple program in the past, but after some research decided on WebPlus X4 from Serif as this will allow a full e-commerce site and you can use PayPal to accept plastic cards. They have just brought out a version 5 with even more bells and whistles. This program costs less than £100.
In my research I read some people found the Mr Site a bit inflexible in the way it designed a site and was a bit basic. Have a look at some of the reviews that people have posted on Amazon about it and some of the other programs.
Hope this helps.

I would advise anyone thinking about buying a mr site package to hold off. They are currently testing MUCH BETTER versions. No idea when they will hit the shelves but they will have much more features than they do currently with the cheaper versions.

Hi all,
I work for Mr Site and spotted this thread - rachybaby1 is right...we are actually just about to release a brand new product. You can find details here mrsite.co.uk/storefront. It is currently only available to our existing customers, however, LottieofLondon if you wanted to purchase Takeaway Website Pro you could contact us and request a free month's trial of Storefront. You can then just switch over your account from Takeaway Website to Storefront when you've finished building your shop.
Hope this helps!
