I am now the proud owner of a Dyson vac.

Very scary to see how much muck it picks up but I feel I may be doing more housework cos it is soooooo good to use!!!:D:D:D

I was like that when i got mine. I used to have a cylinder dyson but now i've got an upright one and it's soooooooo much better.

I agree! I thought our house was pretty clean until the Dyson showed me we were living in a pigsty!!

I knew I lived in a pigsty but not to what extent!! ;)
We live close to a motorway and husband is at home ever day, so I blame that hehehe!:mf:

Yey for the British inventors!!
We've had ours years, its fab, only had one problem, the motor blew up (slight exageration) but they were fab, took it away, put loads of new bits on it, never had a problem since!!:)

After 2 dysons, we went for a top of the range panasonic. Mistake. The dysons have come out of the cupboard again! :)

I love my dyson - it's great that it all comes apart to clean easily. This should become a dyson appreciation thread!!

LOL.
Where would we be without our hoovers. Mine is fixed now too Woooo Hooo.
I went for a panasonic for a short time too Peter it had a shelf life of about 10 months and died. Didn't get a respectful funeral just a good kick lol

I'm on my third Dyson now ... they are fab but ours seem to have a life expectancy of about 2 years....

Mind you - our dog was poorly a couple of weeks ago, in the sense that a bit of carpet needed cleaning (if you get my drift) and now the patch has dried, it looks like we used bleach to clean it with as it's sooooo much cleaner than all the rest of the carpet!

If we had the time we'd hire a carpet-shampoo thingy.....

I think I enjoy watching all the fluff and muck whizz around too much! It's got one of those really long reach hoses so I can do the stairs without knocking my shins to black and blue (excuse for not wearing dresses / skirts heheh!).
And I must say I destest doing the stairs, so I may now vac them more!!:mf:

Everyone I've spoken to about a Dyson all say the same - they are fab!!!:mf:

Sadly, it seems that it doesn't empty itself though.

Need to get a man in to sort that out...
