Go on allow me a little time on the soap box to shout about how well Ollie has done in the last week or two!
first he took his science sat a year early and was given the result yesterday. He got a level 7 (highest they can achieve) and was top of the year.
Today he was singing in a festival and came first in one class and third in his other class.

There is a down side to it all though.... we have to traipse here and there like groopies and pay for tickets all the time to watch hi, perform. on monday he's singing in the city Hall so we have to go and sit through yet another concert..... no I'm not moaning really..... but i did get computer withdrawal today. .... did you miss me?

....but better that than you missing your much beloved! It's a sacrifice we can make.......;)

Well done that Ollie!!! A proud moment, or moments, indeed!

Our middle son has just been told he's in the highest group for triple science next year......sounds like our boys have something in common!

I don't understand a word of it though, do you Jules? I can do the human biology bits though but only from a medical point of view. The rest is well beyond me!!!

The conversations between our 3 boys, my husband and, on occasion, the daughter, when they get into science is just beyond me. The boys have this aptitude for maths & science and I have no idea where they get it from.......quite clearly not me! I only enjoyed Biology at school...Chem & Physics were just mind-glazingly boring.
