...I have to tell you all, because I am SO proud...

My son has got a 2:2 BSc (Chem) degree...results came today! Yippee!!!!!!

He was 4% away from a 2:1, so we are going to appeal. He suffered such a huge amount of stress, what with the Nightmare on House-share Street this year, and it has definitely affected his work...he's disappointed in his results, but I'm just chuffed to bits. He still achieved his degree despite all the hassle he's had.

He's going back in October to do his last year and get his Masters!

I took my son to a birthday-party this afternoon and beamed when they served the ice-cream... he piped up " i-c-e-c-r-e-a-m " demonstrating that he could spell ice-cream !!

He starts school in September and he's soooo ready for it - he counts up to 100, can do sums like 12 + 7 and wants to know how to spell everything!

Genius....in the making there! I hope he stays like that all through school! He'll have the world at his feet!
