A pic of some spoons I carved recently - the one on the right was just an intertwined pattern. The left one was more thoughtful, for a wedding - the hearts of course for love, the US flag as the groom is American - the thistle and rose as the bride is half Scots and half English - the loose chain link for fidelity and the loose balls in the cage representing children to come. All, of course, carved from one piece of wood.

Woody, they're fantastic. I haven't seen a proper love spoon since we lived in Wales which was about ooooo 28 years ago. There is something fascinating about something carved from one piece of wood. I envy your patience.:D
