Would anybody mind taking a peek at my website? www.poppypusscreations.com (http://www.poppypusscreations.com)
It's not finished yet & I've lots more bits to put on (why does it take me so long?!!- no need to answer that). Constructive criticism most welcome.
Many thanks,
Jayne.

Hi

Just had a quick look at your site. The top texts all seem to be overlapping each other - could be the brower i use.

In firefox the title is over the text...

Oh bother!!! It all looks absolutely fine on my pc! I don't even know what firefox is (total ignoramous when it comes to computers!) I'll try to sort it out but will probably have to wait 'til my chap gets back from work (either that, or, ask a class of ten-year-olds, who will know far more than I do!)
Thank you for looking & for telling me about it,
Jayne:confused:

Well I've looked and looked and looked for ways to correct the problem :frusty: I am just about pulling my hair out.!!!! I've sent a query to the help desk at Mr Site so I'll see what they come up with. Has anyone else has a similar problem:confused:

Think it is the browser as it's still overlapped for me. I use internet explorer 7 which i think is the most up to date version.

It looks fine to me. not sure about computers but the little icon i click to connect to internet says BT Yahoo on it if that is any help...
The site looks good, well done, i've been trying to do Mr Site fore aaaaages
Cant seem to get the time to get my head round it...
My only critisism would be i'd prefer larger photos but apart from that it's great and clear and easy to find stuff

I agree about the photos, I will do something about it, just need to figure out how to resize them. I struggled a bit with Mr Site, at first, but I just kept trying different things and, eventually, I seemed to get it together (more luck than judgement with me!) so I wish you the best of luck with your site and thank you for your feed back, I really appreciate it.:)

The Mr Site 'help people' have got back to me and they concur that it's the browser. Phew, I really thought I'd messed up! Thank you, everyone, for looking at the site I really appreciate it.

Hi Jayne. Youre website is looking great! Love the colours. It looks like you have just one image on your pages that overlap, just under the header. Can be easily rectified!

Looks like when you have sorted your gremlins out it will be a great site though.

The Mr Site People have told me that the overlapping is due to a browser problem, so, if you're using an older browser you'll see overlapping (the problem doesn't show up on my computer, that's why i was sooo confused when it was first mentioned to me!).

You're right about the site taking a long time, it's so difficult to find enough time to do it, especially when I' making loads of stuff for fairs and a couple of shows!!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my site, I really appreciate it.:)

It works fine for me on the works computer! :D

I know what you mean about Mr Site - I'm working on a new website with my stuff and I've found some things out the hard way!
Plus it logs me out for no reason other than I've been innactive for too long - what 3 seconds??!!

For the larger picture situation, I've typed in the description box 'please click on image for a larger picture' and if by magic a larger picture appears and darkens the rest of the page (looks pretty impressive!) :mf:

Thanks for the tip...I'll try that.

Your site looks good.
But try to stick to CSS, I see u have CSS and Old HTML things like Font, align, color mixed in your html source. You can read up on CSS in sites like w3schools dot com. Great tutorials.

Sticking to CSS might help you solve your Overlay problems. Play with your Css Files.

Am sure that majority of browsers are still I.E 6 with IE7 coming up fast. About 15% use Firefox i would guess, and these using firefox tend to be a younger generation of people i would guess.

Many thanks Rudy but I don't have a clue, when it comes to the stuff you are talking about. All I did was follow the Mr Site instructions and I didn't (delibetately, or, to my knowlegde) swap between anything call CSS and HTML - I just filled in the boxes. Thank you again for taking the time to look at my site , I really appreciate it.

Your site looks fine to me! Some of the text is a little big, and you have an 'empty' page on your menu, but well done - I'm using Mr Site to develop my new website and it can be a challenge sometimes, so well done!!
Love the colours - very calming!! ;)

Hello! I visited your website, I would suggest the lettering a little bit smaller and maybe pictures bigger. And pictures loading too long. I hope it will help. Anyway it is only small details, overall looks ok.
