Diana Concert

Im not a royalty freak, but I liked Diana, especially for bringing certain charities into the public eye.

But I think yesterdays concert is worth talking about.
Bit badly put together, sound was naff at times and bad timing.
I thought P Diddy was so cringey!!

But I thought Joss Stones version of Under Pressure was fab and Rod Stewart was the best there.

We watched the concert last night. We are definatly not royal lovers by any shake of the imagination!!
Thought it was a good concert.... did you notice Connie Fischer fluffing her lines? te he!
It was like watching a sect when P diddy came on. Real finger down the throat job!
loved Elton, Lilly Allen and Ricky Gervais though.
Didn't get the video at the end. it was like watching something from victorian times with nanny's dressed up like nurses. Where were her parents?
Thought that the princes were rubbish!.... no spontanaeity and no real feelings. They looked awkward and out of place and kept reading off silly little cards.... reminded me of Prince Edward.

I liked the princes dancing, but have to agree, no charisma when talking to the crowd.

I felt so bad for Ricky Gervais, he looked genuinely uncomfortable when they were over running, typical Elton.

I saw snippets of it throughout the afternoon.
I agree about the sound being rubbish at times, also thought quite a few times the crowd didn't really look like they were that into it...
I mean why oh why do they insist on having an ALL SEATED concert!!!!
At least the pitch should be standing, get those people up of their bums!!
It makes it so hard for an artist to be on a stage like that and looking down to a pitch of people SITTING!!!

Also the Kate Middleton thing, she sat away from the princes so as to direct the spotlight away from her as 'the day is about Diana not her and William' So all she's done is made everyone talk about the fact that she WASN'T sitting with William. Have they no brains???

Liked seeing Princesses Eugine and Beatrice, i really like them, they looked like they were enjoying themselves/

Fergies girls looked like they were enjoying themselves!

Out of all the royal lot I thing Fergie is the best!!!She clearly has a great sense of humour, shame she was treated so naff.

I listened to it on the radio - couldn't be doing with those 2 on the telly looking like they were very uncomfortable (Jamie Theakston especially). I liked Lily Allen but she sounded very breathy on the radio!

I watched this, I thought it was quite good- good mix of entertainment. The best part for me was the Princes dancing, bless them! They did have a good go at looking cool, but they reminded me of old man wedding dancing!
