Has anybody used freidnly plastic?
I bought some as I was curious but no idea what to do with it or what it can do.
I hope it works with a heat gun.
Any tips?

Hi Seahorse,
I went through a faze of using friendly plastic all the time! Yes you can use a heat gun with it. You can cut it up and melt it together (be careful it gets pretty hot under the gun)
One thing that I did that ended up nice was cut a square in one colour and then cut out a heart shape in another colour. Placed the heart on top of the square and heated them up until the heart melded with the square. Then I used it as a topper for a card I was making.
I'm sure lots of people will have ideas for using it. But that can get you started!!

Great, thanks.
Whats th best surface to do this on?Will it stick?
And I heard you can rubber stamp into it, will it ruin the stamp or does it come away easily?

Google friendly plastic and see what you come up with . There are lots of sites telling you how to use it. here's one to start you off. http://www.cardinspirations.co.uk/tech/fplastic.htm You can also use hot water or a hot plate. it does stick so my tip is get your self some teflon sheet the kind you use in the oven flexible backing sheet cheap from the big supermarkets. smilr with a tiny amount of olive oil. Be very careful it gets hot enoough to burn. Have fun

I worked with it on an old baking sheet that we don't use in the oven any more! It is great fun..but be careful as it gets really hot! Enjoy yourself and don't forget to show us what you create.

Hi,
You can also use hot water to melt the FP. It takes abit of practice getting the temerature just right for what you want to do but I use this method a lot.
Have a look at our gallery on Craft Cellar for lots of uses and effects you can get.
