help what soap base is best and what one do i buy?

hi all

i wanna buy just a basic soap base to make some small soaps with, usually make candles but bought a lovely cherub mould and have been asked to make some soaps.

I've had a look on some soap supply websites but have no idea which soap base is best. don't want to spend a fortune on it either.

theres a website called melt and pour supplies (if you google it you'll find it!) they do a "precertified" base, so long as you don't add any additional fragrances or colouring, it's supposed to be ok. ... if you're just making one of soaps probably easier (and cheaper!) to use something like that?
