Shouldn't you be the one venturing out first, being the loving gentleman??

Bomb threats are very scary, I was working in Manchester years ago when the bombings were being done there. Was a dreadful time, we were on high alert for months, which meant we couldn't open any windows or blinds in the hot summer months

My brother is down there somewhere working - we never really know exactly where due to the nature of his job. Worries me sometimes:behindsofa:

I worked in Selfridges, Oxford Street (a long time ago) and there was several bomb alerts every day so we got rather blasé about it. Then one day the Libians bombed the British Airways office opposite right where my bus stop was. It was chaos, but fortunately no-one was killed, unlike the Harrods bomb, here, they evacuated the building but the bomb was in a taxi outside - nasty!

Heard on the news this morning that there was another one. Thank god neither of them went off.

I live in Colchester which is a military town and when I was on my way back form the gym earlier this morning there were a couple of military bomb disposal vans came hurtling through the town with sirens going and military police cars behind them. I am on the other side of town to the army barracks but still scarey to see all the same, haven't heard anyhting on the local news about it though.
