...I'm sure I'm a junkie or somesuch.

I love the smells of petrol, permanent markers, Evo-Stick (I blame my Dad for that one), turpentine and white spirit. Oh, and firelighters. And fresh tar....

What about you?

Germolene! I used to love smelling that when I was likkle.

I also like the old-fashioned smell of creosote - mmmm, reminds me of my Grandad's shed.

I always have to stop and smell my neighbours' lilac shrub (I nearly typed "lilac bush" but thought that would be mis-interpreted!!!) when it's in flower, and I've got a variety of orange-blossom in my garden that's currently out and it smells like bubble-gum!

What about matches after you have just blown them out, or cigar smoke, which is really weird as i hate the smell of cigarette smoke. My dad always used to have a cigar on christmas morning only, so it probably brings back memories.

.......those mock orange blossoms are out now, they smell gorgeous, and the lilacs.....

Creosote...yummy. That's my kind of smell. I am a junkie..I swear.

Pipe tobacco reminds me of my Granda, as does fresh pine. He lived on the Kyle of Sutherland right on the edge of Forestry Commission land in a wooden cabin he built himself.

I hate those big blousy pink & white lilies (stargazers). We had them in my Nan's room when she was dying. Horrible memories and they stink.

What other smells?

They're my favourites.

ME TOO!!!! I think I loved it so much because it tasted like the smell of Germolene, which as I've already said is one of my favourite smells. Must have been a small number of people who liked it for them to stop doing it!

I never thought I'd hear someone agree with me about Root Beer!!!!!!!!!
I used to get the most weirdest looks when I bought it - from staff and customers!!

Tesco used to do a version in 2litre bottle around the time it departed from McD but then that disappeared......

I think only solution is to go to America and ship it back by the gallon
heheheh :D
