how to use silicone molds

just wanting a bit of advice and tips on the best way to use silicone molds (the ones used for making toppers and things not the ones you bake in)

Ive got two pirate faces and ive tried dusting them with icing sugar but i am still having trouble getting them out without a part of it sticking.

any ideas would be great

Are you using fondant or flower paste? Flower paste and cornflour might be the way to go :)

Stick them in the freezer for a couple of minutes and then turn them out, and definately use modelling paste or flower paste as sugarpaste isn't strong enough.

or fondant with some tylo powder in it
