.....for trying to be too clever. Tara has just started standing by herself but decided that she was ready to take her first steps this morning. She wasn't and went headlong into the wooden chest next to the sofa.
At least she looks cool with a Yoda plaster on her head!!

Not at all - she's decided that my sticky pads look much better all over the carpet so I'd better go and stop her!!

Thats why she did it, she had her eye on that Yoda plaster for ages.
I found a place that sells pirate/skull crossbones plasters, I was sooo tempted.

It isn't easy being purple in this world................at least the plaster compliments the skin tone. :)

Bless her ... won't stop her from trying it again though.
Genevieve has a very nasty bruise on her shoulder this week. We think she was sleep walking a couple of nights ago. We could hear her walking around upstairs whilst we were watching TV. She went into our room, but obviously there was no-one there. Then she went to the bathroom where she went to the loo. She started crying and came downstairs. I put my arm around her to comfort her and noticed a big lump on her shoulder from where she had obviously just banged it. Then I got the question 'Mummy where have my knickers gone'. Couldn't answer that oneI knew she had them on when she went to bed (plus her socks that she won't go without even in summer). Anyway, when I took her back upstairs to bed we found them in the bathroom sink! (God only knows why she'd put them there when she went to the loo). The mind really does boggle at times.

I don't bother with plasters - I leave the wounds on show with my kids. Just as well really cos I don't think plasters would look particularly good stuck across the bottom of noses (youngest always falls flat on his face - he's chipped a tooth doing it and he's only 21 months old!)
And the eldest (nearly 4), I am sure is already a hypocondriac so I don't want to introduce them into the giddy world of character plasters!! :mf:
