Time really does fly when your having fun!

Made 2 pieces today and more time went by than I thought. Is this whats its like for people when they actually enjoy their jobs!!??

Whats the longest amount of time youve spent doing your craft before realising hours had gone by?

Hehe time wizzes by for me on a sunny Sunday afternoon, when all i can see is a queue of people wanting ice cream, even though there are another two ice cream places nearby.
Well i suppose they are selling 'mr whippy' oops sorry not allowed to swear on the forum....
Time goes by even quicker when i'm on the forum.....

When I'm pouring I get so engrossed in what I'm doing I lose track of all time. I have to set an alarm on my phone when I'm down in the workshop to ensure that I have time to go wash my hands and then get down to school pick Genevieve up on time!

Have to agree with ICG tho, times goes even quicker when I'm sat here on the forum :pc:

I've decided to go and play with some glass tonight. It won't get fired until next week, but I'm going to see what I've got and what I can put together from it ... wish me luck :playball:

If I post again within 2 hours can one of the mods :banplease: as I have so much to get done lol.

I know just how you feel when I've got lots of lovely chocolate to make time flies by. But I think it goes much quicker when I'm out & about selling at craft fairs. I supose it's because I meet so many interesting people.

And it works the other way too - doesn't time drag when you are fed up. I swear somebody is holding back the hands on my watch just now - I want to go home!!!!! Today is going on forever at work!!!.

Cheers.

You may have to put reigns on me on this one.
My bosses are cr*p at time keeping, they had work to do but managed to not leave til 2pm, I didnt get a lunch break, oh no, I get to sit here while they tell me of bad estimations of when they think they will/plan to leave.

Surely if you really need to get out to a site you DONT have a cup of tea adn a chat with anyone that wonders in!!!

So I sit here doing naff all while they delay work and have a little chit chat.
I wouldnt mind if I was loaded and could just buy whatever I wanted so I could sit and make things all day.

The best thing I ever did was give up my "real" job. Now I can waste my own time and not anybody elses!:p
