Do handwritten tags put you off an item or does it go with the whole handcrafted idea/ideal? Just thinking up packaging you see......
Thanks

I like hand written tags, ;) think they look so much nicer than printed.
I have also got some printed ones with my logo, but have space to write on size/name details etc and always write washing instructions on the reverse.
If someone orders more than one item I also stitch a spare button to the tag on a scrap of fabric.... looks great!
... i think its these little details that make hand crafted items more desirable.

I like hand written tags as well. For my jewellery i make my own with pink card, punch a hole in and attatch to the item with black ribbon, looks quite good!!:)

I've got to send an order off tomorrow you see for a craft fair and the guy wants tags on them. If I do stick to handwritten tags I might get hubby to write them - he has gorgeous handwriting!!
Thanks

Either that or cheat. Run off tags on the printer but use one of the hand writing fonts. My hand writing looks like a budgie running across the page so always print them off.
Cheers.

Is that a neat, artistic budgie, or a drunk one ;)
I've seen handwritten tags that look good, and ones that look bad. We moved away from them, and put out general price tags, which seems to work.

Well if the budgie is anything like me I would have to say a drunk one!!!
Now where did I put that glass of Rose????
Cheers.

My handwriting is awful too.
I think nice italic hand written tags would look good.

The thought of having a spelling mistake or my writing being unreadable is the no-no for me! My writing is small and fairly neat, but if I have to do repetitive writing then its like doing lines at school, and it goes a little wonky!
Personally, I love the handwritten tags - just not my handwriting!!! ;)
