The rainbow just got bigger!!!

This was my weekend project. I have been commissioned to make this - it's a much larger version of my round mirrors and measures approx 44cm. It's the biggest I've done so far, but have now been asked to do a 60cm one - that's next weekend's project!!! I really love these mirror tiles, have just ordered more!

Mirror looks fabulous. I love the rainbow of colours.I am feeling very colourful at the moment have just bought 2 shirts one bright orange and one bright yellow. Very cheery colours.

Thanks for all the lovely comments. Have just had an email from the buyer (sent him a pic) and he says he's really pleased with it so that's great!!! The good thing about this one is that it can go in any room and with any colour scheme. I have run out of tiles already though, so better get ordering some more!!!

How do you know how many tiles you will need and that they will all neatly fit around a circle? Must be a lot harder than a straight sided shape!!

That would drive me insane trying to get them all to fit! No matter how many times I measure something, I always make a mistake!! ;)

That would drive me insane trying to get them all to fit! No matter how many times I measure something, I always make a mistake!! ;)

I actually find making sqaure mirrors a lot harder and it takes me a lot longer, as I have the make sure the spacing is exactly right and do it all by eye. I usually play around with the tiles as I make the round ones, to get them to fit - it's a lot more random and free hand making rounds and I much prefer making things this way (hence why I make so many, I feel more creative when I make rounds!!!!)

Coming up next...PINK!!! Ohhh, I can't wait to get my hands on these tiles. Have already got a baby pink but just ordered another 3 shades o pink to make a pink mix mirror. So excited! Lots of people have asked about pink. Am also going to try mixing with other colours. Oh, really wish I had this week off work to have a good play around!

It looks fantastic! Those mirror tiles are beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing the pink one, pink glass is actually quite hard to come by and usually more expensive than any other colour (except gold!), where do you get your tiles?

I know what you mean about the pink - very hard to find and then they're very expensive! I am going to have to ask more for the pink mirrors for this reason. Managed to find them on ebay - always check in case someone is selling pink and a few weeks ago someone was selling the last few they had. Can't wait to get them - they should come tomorrow or Friday!!!
