Printing advice needed.

Hi

I'm after some/any advice with regards to printing your own images!

Basically, I want to print some of my paintings to be added onto my handmade cards. I paint in both acrylic and watercolour and do not know what paper/s would be best to work with. I would appreciate any advice at all, best finish to use i.e matt, pearl, etc.

I have a decent printer with a good built in scanner and think it's more than adequate to use for this purpose. Or, is it best not to try myself and get them done professionally?

I'm not sure what paper would be best but i think that any photo paper would be fine. This could work out quite expensive if your going to do a lot, not just for the paper but the inks aswell.

I think it would be worth finding how much they would cost to get them professionally done, you could either get them to print the images then mount them onto card yourself or get them into cards for you.
