Im trying to work out prices of non existant pieces and Im getting my decimal points muddled.
I want to use wooden beads, which luckily work out quite cheap, I was working out a length and how much the wooden beads would cost and it came to £6, I swear it took me a good 20 minutes to realise it was more like 60p for the wood part of the necklace.
As you can imagine I chuckled away at my mistake.
Was that the worlds most boring subject for a thread?

How about this then for feeling like a right numpty:
Spent all week at work doing 'the finances' (don't work in finance, so my mistakes can be excused) although have a very huge budget (millions :D). Worked out all the spreadsheets and into nice columns and all that, and added up completely wrong.
Panic phone call to finance bloke
Who is used to me and was very nice about it all
Had a Mars bar to take the pressure off a little
Then I added up again
And realised I'd added £10million on by mistake
hahahhahaha!!! :frusty:
And its Friday.......
And realised I'd added £10million on by mistake
Ever thought of working for the government? ;)

that happened to me once, I couldn't work out why the beads in my bracelet came to £5, I was sure that the whole pot of beads only cost me £3 and I'd used no where near the whole pot, it took me about 1/4 hour to work out it only came to 50p!
