Do you have another name for maple seeds?They are those helicopter type leaves that fall off trees and spin to the ground.

I think the term for them is "Key". Certainley the ones that came from a sycamore were called keys.

They are the Sycamore maple. We always call them Helicopters.

Choppers (as in helicopters).

Ash trees I always knew as having "ash keys" - I think because there are quite a few seed pods in a bunch (?)

Sycamore were helicopters.
