I've just completed mine in time for my shopping evening next week. if anyone is looking to produce a catalogue of photos for a craft fair this only costs a pound, you have to follow the link for a voucher code, but it was quickish and easy to do. You can put a number of photos on each page or just one per page. I've put one per page and a title on each.

Someone on another forum has done it and it came in 5 days.

Just had a quick peek and it looks FAB!

I need something like a "brochure" for craft fairs and when I go to shops.

The only downside I can see to it is how do you add new products?

Thanks very much for the link! I've been wanting to do something with finished examples on that I can show off at events that I do and this is just the ticket.

Thats what I'm using mine for. I see where your coming from JBJB but I'm not sure how you can get round that. For me, this was ideal because I put all my designs on, there was just enough pages.

I'm having problems with it :-( I've done everything I need to do ... gone to basket and put my code in, but there's no 'update' or 'proceed' buttons visible. It won't load the whole page for me (bit missing down the sides and bottom) and I can't scroll down ... getting really frustrated at the min lol. I've tried tabbing and pressing space bar, but that doesn't work either :-( not sure what else to try. Anyone any ideas?

Have you saved your work, can you go back into it and proceed to checkout again. I didn't have any problems with it, but it sounds like it crashed or something.

Hi, yes I did save it and yes I can go back into it, it's not a loading error, rather more a display problem. I don't know if it's the resolution of my screen or not. I'm going to try again on my laptop later and see if it displays any better there.

Are you using Firefox to view pages? If so try using it with IE tab as some websites render differently in Firefox than IE tab - so frustrating as Firefox is so much better

No, I've never used firefox, only IE. Wonder if it will work on AOL which I hate using ... maybe worth a try in the morning when I can get on the desktop where the document is saved.

That's most inconsiderate of them, don't they realise that this is the time when you're doing all of your research? lol

This is great! Thanks for the link!

I ordered one last night - spent most of the evening fiddling, didn't even get the washing up done!! Once I'd fathomed out how to get the photos in the order I wanted (I'd pressed auto while fiddling!!) it was great!!

I've put it together to be examples of what I make, couldn't keep up with all stock as I often only make one or two of something.

I've been trying to do this but i can't retrieve some photos i want to put in the booklet, my computer is playing games with me and has put them in the burmuda triangle so that i can't find them with the 'browse' facility.
Hmmm it will not beat me....

I think some of mine joined yours in the bermuda triangle, but I sorted it out in the end. It was a bit strange though as half of my hard drive(I think its a hard drive), was missing from the browse facility.

I've just logged on and started reading this thread - my friend was here earlier and we were chatting about ways for me to create a journal of all my work to have on the table at craft fairs and to take to shops etc. She suggested www.photobox.co.uk , and then I've just read this thread !!! Ok, so I know you've all been chatting about photobook, but it's virtually the same thing .... that's a bit spooky if you ask me !! My friend used Photo Box to create a book for her hubby as a gift from their son for father's day and she said it's absolutely brilliant - it arrived within a couple of days. Am off to check them both out now !:)

That's my problem!!!
A lot of my photos are in a folder that is missing from the browse facility, i even went back and wrote down the route path thingy to it and it was just not there when i looked for it in the browse thing!!!
So i'm using some photos that luckily are in another folder that does show up. Had to stop and go to work, but back now so will have another go.
Looks great though, good link you posted!!

Mine changed to the right price as I went through the process!!

I initally couldn't access all of my photos, I could once I went into settings and changed the "My pictures" folder there though.

Well it kept getting in a stress when i tried to checkout so i have given up and deleted it all of my computer.....
But....
I'm really glad you posted the link as i had no idea you could do things like that, it's a really good way off showcasing your products so people have an idea of what you do.... Maybe i'll have a go another time
So thanx anyway to colourart
(and btw hows my Butterfly doing?):)

Got my booklet in this mornings post!! Its brilliant.

My pictures do seem to have come out a little higher on the page than I thought they would but I would certainly consider buying another one when I've more updated photos of stock at hand!

I'm going to keep it in my handbag to show people what I do - can be difficult to explain sometimes!

I got mine this morning and love it! Really nice quality (especially for £1.00 :mf:) and the perfect size to keep in your bag to show people when out and about. Great for craft fairs too as it's not something that will take up a lot of room.

Will definitely be ordering more when needed, it's a great idea.

Got mine too. The service is great and the book is ideal for showing the range of my designs, because I can't display them all on a table at a craft fair. I sold a painting last year from a catalogue I printed on the computer. I had the painting with me, but under the table, she said she was looking for something blue, so she looked through the catalogue and bought the painting there and then.
