I need a craft course manchester/cheshire, where do I start?

I'd like to go on some kind of course learn more crafty type things. I currently just make small things from whatever comes to mind so I'm not properly trained in any craft area. Not sure what I fancy or even what I'd be good at but I'm struggling find where to go for courses. Any suggestions please?

Have you got a good craft shop nearby? Mine does craft sessions. And has postcards in the window about others that can't be run in their back room.
In the old days evening classes in local schools and colleges were the way to go.
Where are you? One of us might live nearby and fancy doing a come round and play afternoon?
Still stuck? The old fashioned way is to get to your secondhand bookshop and buy a craft book and get on with it. The new way is to click on You Tube. Wow! the pictures move! (I'm a bit old and think a good book is better but I must admit I find the videos on You Tube a real hoot sometimes.)

I agree youtube is the best place! Or your local college may run an evening class or six week course?

Thanks for that will have a scout round. I'm Manchester area. I've found some in Chorlton so I'm going to have another look at those and see if they'll suit me

I run a craft group in Bramhall, Stockport if thats any help. It's every Wednesday 10.30 til 12.30 and I provide everything you need for your crafting, and it costs £4 per session. We usually make cards, but do other things that can be adapted and used on cards, such as silk painting, glass painting and we also do stamping onto candles - but I am open to suggestions....hee!
