Thank you everyone, it takes about 2 hours, but that's because I buy the jumprings rather than make them.
Once you get the basics of the weave, its fairly simple - the trick is to make sure you get the right aspect ratio (thickness of wire ratio to the inside diameter).
This is a nice chunky one - I've also done some earrings with much smaller rings ;)
