Can anyone suggest where I would find clock faces, as in the face and mechinism, to use to make a wall clock?

Try www.opitec.co.uk (http://www.opitec.co.uk)
big supplier of craft bits and pieces, an absolutley awful site to use but request the catalogue - know they do clock hands and mechanisms etc as I've had them from them in the past.

If you want clocks that are unique then try car boot sales etc - hubby just made a clock for his sister that he cobbled together from 3 different clocks and it cost him about £3!

My husband used to make fantastic clocks and he got his mechanisms in bulk from a jewellers. However Argos sell clocks for a couple of pounds which included everything you needed. He would need to by the mechanism, hands and screws etc all separately and even in bulk it added up. He ended up buying the clocks from Argos (I suppose you can get cheap ones in Ikea too) and using their hands and mechanisms.
Chears.

Ooo thanks for the Michelle, they are metal hand ones. May give them a go. The one I use is :

These are plastic but still brilliant, haven't had any problems with them so far!
