If that makes any sense!
I would like written weight to liquid conversion chart if anyone knows of one. for example 100g solid melts down to ....mls

What's your solid? Each substance (chemical, salt, etc) will be different... (I work in a lab so I know!)
Forgot to add that 1ml of water weighs 1g so 1g of ice will melt to 1ml of water - but 1ml of ice would be less as a lot of the structure of ice is made up of air.
As for any other chemicals, I've never really had to melt them down!
