When you update....

...your site, do you update it regularly, say every 4 weeks?
Do you have a set number of pieces you intend to make and add the same amount each time?

I update my site weekly. Although I don't have new products to add all the time I tweek and change things keeping it up to date for the different seasons and events that are happening.

You need to keep updating your site or the search engines will rank it lower. If they see that a site is not being updated regularly they will assume that it is obsolete type of thing and you will fall lower in the ranking.

The beadshop is multi-currency, so I update those every week.

I'm usually doing a bit of tinkering with it anyway - adjusting the stock levels or finding new items to sell.

Yep, I agree, pretty much weekly. usually tweaks and improvements, not always new items. I ahve added a news section that I am trying to keep up to date at least every other week.

Ditto, the search engines, the more your site is updated with good relevant new content the better.
